Superstars storm Owerri for Rita Dominic’s traditional marriage

Actress Rita Dominic‘s journey to matrimony with publisher Fidelis Anosike has begun with a colourful traditional marriage ceremony in her home town, Aboh Mbaise near Owerri, the Imo State capital on Tuesday.

The couple opted for a private traditional marriage in her home town inside the compound of her late father, Eze Marcellenus J.O Waturuocha, the former traditional ruler of the community while the reception was held later in the day at the Landmark Event Centre, Owerri.

The #ReelDeal22 traditional wedding attracted many entertainment personalities who trooped to Owerri to offer support to and cheer Rita, on her biggest day.

The two marrying celebrities were able to attract some other celebrities, including Ini Edo, Chioma Akpotha, Chidi Mokeme, and Uche Jombo to their first marital event.

Others are Nse Ikpe-Etim and recuperating comedian Julius Agwu.

The event took place amid tight security provided by men of the Nigerian Army, Police and local vigilante groups.

Rita, a royal princess, dazzled in a blue George wrapper and blouse with coral beads adorning her head, neck and waist and horsetail in her hand.

The excited bride shared pictures of herself and guests on Instagram.

Fidelis Anosike, her husband, arrived at the event with his entourage in a grand entry.

The founder of Folio Media Group, a multimedia company that owns Daily Times Nigeria, and the organiser of The Miss Nigeria pageant, was seen happily dancing with members of his entourage as he arrived for the traditional marriage ceremony.
