BBNaija Shine Ya Eye: Queen, Nini, Saga evicted as Biggie introduces twist into eviction.

Written by Ade

There were three real evictions and two fake evictions on Sunday during the week 9 live eviction show of the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye reality show.  For the show Whitemoney, Pere, Angel, Queen, Saga, and Nini were put up for eviction while Emmanuel, Liquorose and Cross are through to the grand finale                                                                                                                                                        Show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, kicked the show opened with a fast eviction of Pere, one of the housemates. But this eviction turned out to be fake as Pere was only sent to the ‘Whiteroom ‘ away from the other housemates, who had assembled in the lounge.                                                                                                                                                                       But coming next was the real eviction of Queen Mercy Atang (Queen) from the show. The 26-year-old from Akwa Ibom, who had earlier expressed confidence at staying through to the grand finale was surprised at her eviction.                                                                                        Speaking with Ebuka after her eviction, she said she came to the show to win the N90 million grand prize.                                                                                                “I am shocked about my eviction because I came with the winning mindset but being evicted is a surprise to me. I don’t know what happened,” she said.                                                                                                                             She described her relationship with fellow housemate, Whitemoney, as just a good friendship.          “Whitemoney was a good friend to me and was with me 100 per cent. I can’t say what will happen after the show but I am opened to it,” she said.                                                                                                                 Queen said she is devoting her future to governance, particularly her Non-Governmental projects but won’t mind taking up any opportunity that comes from the entertainment sector.                                               After Queen, it was the turn of Anita Singh, popularly known as Nini, to be evicted from the reality television show. The eviction of the 27-year-old from Edo State left Saga, another housemate, who she had a close relationship, speechless. Both had a long embrace and Saga escorted his ‘best friend,’ to the door to exit the show.                                                                                                                                                         Talking to Ebuka later, Nini said she just can’t wait to get back to the world.                                                     “There is nothing going on through my mind and I cannot wait to get back to my phone and call my family. I have not been away from them for this long,” she said.                                                                     For Saga, she said she is yet to miss him even though she was fond of him in the house and there was no comparison between Saga and her real boyfriend.                                                                                                  “What a comparison.  I am in a relationship and that is it,” she said.                                                                     Nini said her future plans include owning a fashion brand and managing her other businesses.                Just as Nini was settling down outside the house her best friend, Saga was also evicted from the Big Brother Naija show. The 28-year-old Adeoluwa Okusaga, who was based in Port Harcourt had emerged the winner of the Lipton challenge, winning N2.5m and a one-year ambassadorship deal during the week.                                           Speaking with Ebuka, after eviction, on his eviction and relationship with Nini, Saga said speaking one week with Nini on the show would have been boring for him.                                                                           “I’m not happy I didn’t make it to the end but I’m happy to be out to see Nini. Spending one week without her in the house would have been extremely boring for me. We really bonded well and we understood each other. There were a lot of unsaid things. I’m willing to explore things with her outside the house. I respect that she has a boyfriend, but I’m willing to be friends with her,” he said.
