Senate reveals Tinubu’s first ministerial nominees as Wike, Umahi, El-Rufai, Alake, make the list

The Senate received the long-awaited ministerial list from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday.
The list was through a letter delivered by Femi Gbajiabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, at about 1.20 pm.
The letter addressed to Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, contained 28 names, representing 28 states across the six geo-political zones.
The names include former governors (Ebonyi, Katsina, Katsina and Rivers); former commissioners, economists, medical practitioners and other professionals. The names include seven women
