Burna Boy, Ayra Starr’s songs make Barack Obama’s 2023 summer playlist
“‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ by Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy featuring US-based British rapper, 21 Savage, and Ayra Starr’s ‘Sability’ were the only afro beats songs on the personal 2023 playlist released by Barack Obama, the former President of the United States of America.
The Barack Obama Playlist is the list of the annual songs the former 44th President of the US listens to in Summer. His 2023 list was unveiled through his Twitter handle on Thursday night.

Other artists on this year’s list include Jorja Smith, SZA, J Hus, Drake, Nas, and Rosalia.
Burna Boy and Ayra Starr had previously featured on Obama’s annual summer playlist with ‘Last Last’ and ‘Rush’ cutting in 2022.
Other Nigerians who had previously featured include Wizkid, Rema, and Tems.
