APC NWC confirms Adamu, Omisore’s resignation

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, its National Chairman and Senator Iyiola Omisore, its National Secretary.

Senator Abubakar Kyari, who has taken over the leadership of the party, announced their resignation on Monday during the NWC meeting chaired which was chaired by him.

Kyari announced that he has taken over as Acting Chairman of the party while Barrister Festus Fuanter, the Deputy National Secretary is the new Acting Secretary of the party.

The party’s new leadership said the National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings that were earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday and Wednesday have been postponed.
