BBNaija Reunion: Chichi sues Phyna for N100m for defamation of character
The bitter fall-out from the just concluded Big Brother Naija (BBN) Reunion is yet to be settled as Chichi, a former Big Brother Naija housemate of BBN Season 7 has sued Phyna, the season’s winner and fellow housemate for defamation of character.
In the lawsuit, Chichi is demanding N100 million in compensation, a public apology from Phyna and an order restraining her from making further libellous statements against her. She described the allegation as untrue, slanderous, and malicious to her brand.
Phyna had during the reunion alleged that Chichi was married and that she abandoned her children in Benin, an act that led to the death of one of them. Phyna also stated that Chichi is far older than she claimed.
Phyna, also in a Snapchat post, also accused Chichi of going through a liposuction surgery for N3.5 million and poisoned her friend in Cyprus due to jealousy before returning to Nigeria.
