Ganduje revealed he would like to slap Kwankwaso Over Property Demolition

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the immediate past governor of Kano State, has grave disappointment over the demolition of four properties erected based on a public-private partnership arrangement in the state by the new administration of Governor Abba Yusuf, blaming his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, for the action of the Yusuf Abba’ administration.

Speaking to newsmen on Friday in Aso Rock in Abuja, while in a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ganduje, who was Kwankwaso’s deputy in the state from May 2011 to May 2015, said he could have slapped Kwankwanso if the duo met at the Presidential Villa where they separately went to visit the president over the development.

“I know he (Kwankwaso) is in the building but we have not met. Probably if we met, maybe I could have slapped him,” Ganduje said.

But the former governor said that he has briefed the Inspector General of Police about the development.

Kwankwaso’s New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) during the 2023 General Elections usted Ganduje’s All Progressives Congress in Kano State.
