The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Kefas Agbu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the winner of the Taraba State governorship election.
Professor M.A, Abdulazeez, the State Returning Officer, who declared Agbu the winner announced that he has satisfied all provision of the Electoral Act to be declared the governor-elect of the state.
Agbu scored a total of 257,926 votes to come first, Mohuhammad Yahaya of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), came second with a total of 202,277 votes.
Emmanuel Bwacha of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate came third with 142,502 votes.
