Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has been reelected to a second term in office. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate was declared the winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Jude Rabo , the State Returning Officer, who made the announcement said Zulum scored a total of Zulum 545,542 votes to defeat his rivals in the election.
Mohammed Jajari of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 82,147 votes came a distant second.
