Burna Boy props up for second Grammy wins as Tems is also nominated for 2023 Grammy Awards

Nigerian singers Burna Boy and Tems have been nominated for the 2023 edition of the Grammy Awards.

They are among the world top musical artistes nominated for the prestigious awards to be given out at the 65th edition of the awards scheduled to hold at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA on February 5, 2023.

Burna Boy is nominated in two categories: the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category for his 2022 album, ‘Love, Damini’,  and in the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ category for his hit track,‘Last Last’.

Tems is nominated in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ and ‘Best Rap Song’ categories for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the hit song by Future featuring Drake.

Burna Boy is being nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category at the Grammys for the third time. He won in 2020.

Beyonce has the highest nominations for this year with nine nominations followed by Kendrick Lamar with eight and Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven each.
